Miscellaneous Reminders:

The SCHOOL STORE is open on Friday mornings at 7:30. BOXTOPSPlease save and send in any BoxTops you may have! The arts department hopes to raise $2000 from these!  The Chorus and Strings departments are selling Chick-fil-a biscuits to raise funds for our annual Spring Festival Trip.  They will be sold every Friday from 7:45-8:25 am under the canopy and in the main hallway at the “T” for $2.50. INTRAMURALS!  Tuesday – 6th grade, Wednesday – 7th grade, and Thursday – 8th grade.

Early Morning Help - Don’t forget about the early bird opportunities we have in the mornings – students can be dropped off at 7:30 am.  We have teachers who are there with the following options for your children:  a place to complete homework and get help (Mrs. Norwood), a place to go if they need to finish typing an assignment (Mr. McCartney), a place for them to have some on-line help (Ms. Patton in 314), a place for Math tutoring (Mrs. O’Malley in 803), and the gym for intramurals and other activities.  We want to provide every opportunity for your kids to be successful!

PARENT PORTAL and eFUNDS – both new services are available to parents.  You must come in to school to get your ID and password and then you can reset it to something you can remember.  There is a tremendous amount of information there for you to see.  Grades, attendance, discipline – a great way for you to keep up with your child’s progress.  The eFUNDS allows you to pay for your child’s meals on-line.  Please come in to get your password to get going on these new features provided by the district.

League Athletics: Check the Athletics website regularly for information regarding sports for 2010/11 school year and for the 2011/12 school year at: http://teachers.greenville.k12.sc.us/sites/gmccartn/Pages/Athletics.aspx

The Athletics Webpage has information on: Sports Eligibility and Participation, Physicals, and forms necessary to participate.
